Providing resources to musicians and their communities around the world, Playing for Change is helping to connect the world through music. With monetary donations and contributions of talent, schools are being opened by local artists to help provide children with valuable skills development and mentorship designed to instill self-esteem and confidence. From the Mehlo Arts Center in Johannesburg, a creative writing school for youth, to the newly announced opening of their first music school, the Ntonga Music School, in Gugulethu, South Africa, Playing for Change is empowering those who would otherwise not have the opportunity to explore their passion.
